Albert Edward's Story

Albert Edward Burstow died at Mons on August 23rd 1914 age 20 years. This was one of the first engagements with the Germans, where the Queens Own Royal West Kents gave a good account of themselves with their accurate rifle fire. Albert is buried at the Hautrage Military Cemetary, Belgium. The great uncle I never knew, but who will never be forgotten.
