Lawrence's Story

Uncle Lawrence was killed in 1915 as was my brother Lawrence in 1944 during WW2. Uncle Lawrence was my mother's brother and the only son in the family. Ironically, his father has fled Germany as a refugee before setting up a family in England. I was told he was a quiet shy lad and was unmarried. We have no family photographs of him. However, the name Lawrence has lived on in our family right up to our own grandson.
