Frederick's Story

Frederick Newell first served in Egypt from 30-3-1915. He was wounded during the Gallipoli campaign and returned to England towards the end of 1915. He left the Royal Engineers 4-3-1919. FrederickÂ’s brother Harry served in the Rifle Brigade, his brothers James and Thomas served in the Grenadier Guards.
