Thomas William's Story

The Grandad I never knew, was killed on The Somme on the 1st of July 1916. My Mother (His Daughter) was only 3 years old, so she did not get to know him eighter. We have the one picture (attached) and some documents regarding his Death which are very dear to our Family. I have also found out from the War Graves Commision where His Grave is and I hope to go and see it one day. He sadly was killed along with Thousands of others who did not need to have Died So Young!!
