Johnson William's Story

My Grandfather initially joined the Hampshire Regiment and was sent to Gallipoli where he was wounded three times. The first two times he came home and the third was just before the evaculation of troops from the Peninsula. He was transferred to the Ox and Bucks and was sent to Flanders, where he was killed at 3rd Ypres, Paschendaele, August 22nd 1917.
