Alfred H's Story

he's one of eight out of my grandad's brothers who died in the first world war

I never knew him, but I feel like I do with the information that I'm finding out. I'm going to visit the memorial in France and take photos. I want to find out more about why so many good men lost their lives and understand it all. If it was for all the young men who gave so much for us to have the life we have today in both of the wars. The first was the worst. I would like to know more about the First World War I feel proud of all the men and women who gave their lives for people like me. We should never forget them, we should make sure that all the young people know just what they gave so that we can have the life we have now. My heart goes out to everyone who has lost someone in any war.
