Thomas's Story

He was killed in action on Sunday 3rd September 1916. A member of "H" Coy. 1st Bn Blackwatch (Royal Highlanders). He is remembered with honour on the Thiepval Memorial Somme France. He was born in East Liverpool USA.

There are no personal memories, Thomas Boslem was my Grandmother's brother. Although he and other members of the family were born in the USA the family were from Scotland. I have his medals and the photo that is attached. Unfortunatrly his name is incorrectly spelt on the medals "Boslen" and on the memorial card "Boslam".
