John's Story

Regular soldier, in Garrison Artillery in Hong Kong at outbreak of war. Awarded 1914/5 star in 1916/7 shown in photos to have 2 upside down stripes denoted 8 years service served in France, but have no further details. My wife's Grandfather. note also shown as marksman on photos.
