Jack's Story

Received Military medal for bravery at La Maisontte on the night of 7th/8th March 1917. Highly commended for capture of prisoners wherby useful information was obtained. He handled his comand in a very able manner. RJ Clarke, Lt Colonel Commanding 1/4 Royal Berkshire Regiment.

Following this a bar was added to the Military medal. Dates and location unkown.
