John's Story

I never knew my Great Uncle, but recently found his War Grave in Boulonge. I think he may have taken part in the Battle of Lys in April 1918. He was a gunner in the Royal Field Artillary and joined up in Woolwich. I believe he was in the war from 1914, but died from his wounds 29th April 1918.
