Walter Arthur's Story

My maternal grandmother's youngest brother. Walter is buried in Etaples Military Cemetry in France. I know he died on 22 December 1915 but have no further details. He served in the Royal Field Artillery and was from a true London family. No-one from the family has ever visited his grave but I am making plans to go to Etaples with my son next year. My Nan loved her brother so much and always wanted to go to France but never made it, same for my own mum who died of cancer quite suddenly. We all think we have so much time but I feel I must go to "see" Walter on behalf of those who no longer can.
