Albert's Story

Albert Ormes was in Acoy 1st /7th Cheshire Regiment. He died in action on Monday 26th March 1917. He was in the Egyptian expeditionary force. He has no known grave. His name is on the Jerusalem Memorial, Israel.

When AlbertÂ’s mother and father were told of his death, it was said no remains were found of his body, except for his boots which he had written his name in .
