Henry's Story

My great uncle Harry - I never knew him but he was always held in fond remembrance by my mother and grandmother and family. I still have his cane. In loving memory.

Since I first posted this picture, I have found further details. Harry was the son of William and Louisa Kidd of West Wretham, Norfolk and the husband of Ethel Mary Kidd from Wolverhampton. He died at the Somme and is buried in La Neuville British Cemetery, Corbie, France.
