Robert's Story

Robert Dinham husband of Rose, father of Jim and Rosina Dinham.

My Grandfather was killed 6th August 1917 leaving his wife, son aged 6 and daughter(my mother) aged 3 - I was able to trace his grave and my mother was able to see his grave after 70 years of hoping to find him.

He is buried in a small cementry The Huts near to Ypres,

Everytime I travel back to England to visit we drive past Ypres and he is always in my thoughts after 89 years, he was never forgotten and is still not forgotten
