William H's Story

William is my mother's father.

He transferred to the Royal Navy after the First World War & was discharged in about 1922.

William married Ellen Clark & they had three daughters, Margaret (Peggy - my mother), Sarah (Sally) & Mary.

I would be interested to know where I could find out more about his military service.

He was awarded the Mons Star as part of RM Brigade
