Thomas's Story

Along with his three brothers, Robert, Alexander and William, Thomas Allan went off to join the fight in WWI. He died in France on 2 February 1917, one month after his brother William was killed in Mesopotamia. Thomas is buried in St Sever Cemetery, Rouen, France. Thomas was the youngest of the boys of a family of ten. My mother was the second youngest of his five younger sisters.
