George's Story

He was killed on the Tuesday 9th October1917 in the Battle of Passendale. He is one of the many thousand bodies which was never found. His name can be found in the Tyne Cot Cemetery on one of the panels which i have been to see and I can say it is one of the most moving place in which I have ever visited. My grandad's brother.
