Edward's Story

Ted Sparks was killed on the morning of the 9th of April 1918 at the Battle of Berukin in Palestine and is buried in the Ramleh War Cemetery in Israel.

His family received his last post card from him which he wrote the day before he was killed. Picture taken in 1917.

He left a wife and a daughter.

Ted was awarded the Military Medal for saving his commanding officer.
