John's Story

Gunner John William Broome, No. 118457, of the 18 Battalion, Royal Garrison Artillery, 115th Siege Battery, died age 18 on 26/11/1917. Buried at Ypres Belgium (Buffs Road Cemetry). John lived at Lambert Road Custom House, Canning Town, Westham, Essex, England, the son of John and Martha Broome, brother to Edith Louise, Elizabeth Martha, Annie Francis, William George and Stanley Edward.
