James's Story

James, my great uncle, was a member of the 4th Battalion, Cameron Highlanders. Private 2595. Died at Festubert on 17 May 1915. There is no grave, he is remembered on panels 41-42 at Le Touret memorial in Bethune, France. He was a much loved son and his family were so proud of him .
