William's Story

William Warwick From the village of Marsden West Yorkshire, husband of Rosa, father of Sam and Bill, Grandad of John, Janet, Denis and Philip. Greatgrandad of Deborah, Lorraine, Ross, Carrie-Anne, Kate, Ashleigh, Kyle, Lucy, Joshuah and Cormack.

William fought in the Battle of the Somme with the West Yorkshire Regiment. We believe he was Regimental Sergent Major. But we know for fact he was Sergent. He survived the war and lived to the age of 83.
