The Zoroastrian calendar
The Zoroastrian calendar is full of holy days, feasts and festivals, giving Zoroastrians the reputation of being a joyful religion full of celebration.
The six gahanbars
Zoroastrians have seven obligatory feasts, six of which are the gahanbars.
Noruz
Noruz is the Zoroastrian New Year celebration, occurring on the spring equinox.
Khordad Sal (Birthday of Zoroaster)
The birthday of the Prophet is known as the Greater Noruz and is celebrated six days after Noruz.
