Customs

Communal worship
Communal worship in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is rather informal and doesn't involve ceremonials or priests. It takes place in a simple Chapel, which doesn't have religious statues or pictures.
Fasting
Church members fast each month (on the first Sunday) by going without food and drink for two consecutive meals.
Prayer
Mormon prayer is a sincere, heartfelt talk with God the Father. Mormons do not pray to any other being or to anything made by man or God.
Singing the faith
Mormons love to sing, and many of their hymns contain the eternal truths of their faith, condensed into poetic pearls of great beauty and insight.
The Temple
The Mormon Temple is not used for the regular weekly worship of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is reserved for some of the Church's most holy ceremonies.
Tithing
One of the ancient customs revived by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is tithing.
