Customs- Communal worship
- Communal worship in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is rather informal and doesn't involve ceremonials or priests. It takes place in a simple Chapel, which doesn't have religious statues or pictures.
- Fasting
- Church members fast each month (on the first Sunday) by going without food and drink for two consecutive meals.
- Prayer
- Mormon prayer is a sincere, heartfelt talk with God the Father. Mormons do not pray to any other being or to anything made by man or God.
- Singing the faith
- Mormons love to sing, and many of their hymns contain the eternal truths of their faith, condensed into poetic pearls of great beauty and insight.
- The Temple
- The Mormon Temple is not used for the regular weekly worship of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is reserved for some of the Church's most holy ceremonies.
- Tithing
- One of the ancient customs revived by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is tithing.
