al-Burda
The al-Burda is an Arabic poem honouring the Prophet Muhammad. It was written in the 11th century by Imam al-Busiri during his illness.
Islamic architecture
In Islam, decoration is reserved for the inside of buildings. Most often the only exterior parts to be decorated will be the entrance and the dome.
