Behind the scenes: A year in the life of Westminster Abbey
A World Heritage Site, Westminster Abbey is both a tourist attraction and a place of worship.
The 800-year-old iconic building is the protagonist of a new BBC Two three-part documentary, full of fascinating insights into what goes on behind the scenes at the Abbey over the course of a year.
The show follows the lives of the staff who maintain the abbey, the boys who live in its boarding school, and the clergy who oversee its liturgical calendar.
The first episode of Westminster Abbey is broadcast on Friday 7 December on BBC2 at 2100(GMT). You can join the conversation using the Twitter hashtag #wabbeybbc2
