Former banker Geraint Anderson told the programme that success in the banking industry relies on a lack of adherrance to any ethical code.
"If you have two people in the City of equal ability, and one has ethics and the other no ethics. The one with no ethics will make lots of money." he told the BBC.
Other contributors felt that it was difficult to adhere to religious or moral codes in today's society.
