'Jesus would be on Twitter' - Sister Elizabeth Pio
Sister Elizabeth Pio is the woman behind the tweeting nun account @bethanysister. She believes that the Church should reach out to people using social media.
"The one reason we started tweeting is because that's where people are today. That's where they're having their conversations on Twitter," she told BBC Songs of Praise.
"God wants to be where the people are."
The 41-year-old, based in Southsea, Portsmouth, added: "At the end of the day Jesus would be on Twitter."
Songs of Praise; Future Church is broadcast on 28 October, 17:00(GMT) on BBC One
