Let's Dance for Comic Relief

Rehearsals got under way this week as a host of stars got ready to take on iconic singers and their dance moves for Let's Dance.

Amid the smell of greasepaint, the sound of creaking limbs and the feel of crushed velvet the familiar figure of Britney could be seen. That is, Jo Brand's Britney.

Brand who has starred in Comic Relief shows The Apprentice and Fame Academy is a well-loved member of The Red Nose family and leapt at the chance to play Britney.

In trademark Britney pigtails Jo said:

"There's just something about Britney. To me she's got a slight lack of control about her, shall we say, which I feel is really interesting."

Jo who had to choose her track was also given the choice of Kylie and Beyonce.

"It is my favorite, yes. And more to the point, I couldn't really see myself in a red shiny jump suit doing Oops! . . . I Did It Again. That would have been far too Michelin!"
