Beano gets Comic Relief treatment
Little Britain characters Lou and Andy are set to make a special appearance in a Red Nose-themed edition of BeanoMAX magazine.
The story sees Lou and Andy, played in the TV show by David Walliams and Matt Lucas, watching a Red Nose Day talent show.
Andy, who's in a wheelchair, soon takes to the stage on foot and bumps into classic character Dennis the Menace.
David Walliams said he was pleased that this time his Red Nose contribution was less demanding than usual: "I’ve said yes to a lot of things in the name of Red Nose Day but this was by far the least painful!
"No swimming cap, no cycling shorts, I didn't even have to pick up a pencil - the Beano team did all the work."
A host of other celebrities will feature in the special edition, including Alexandra Burke, who appears alongside cartoon character Minnie.
Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, X Factor stars Jedward, Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint and comedian John Bishop will pop up.
