Tickets available for 24 hour panel show
Comedian David Walliams is no stranger to tough challenges and his latest test will see him attempt to anchor the UK's first ever 24 hour panel show for Red Nose Day.
The epic event, 24 Hour Panel People, will be shown live online here on bbc.co.uk/rednoseday as one continuous feed, before being broadcast on BBC One and BBC Three.
The one-off event will see David take on the challenge of being host, panellist and team captain, as well as some other surprises along the way.
Joining him will be a raft of top comedy talent from across the UK as they take on some of the most iconic TV and radio panel shows to date, including Have I Got News For You, They Think It's All Over, Nevermind The Buzzcocks, Just A minute and 8 out of 10 Cats.
There will also be bespoke rounds created especially for 24 Hour Panel People.
Throughout the epic marathon a host of stars including Sean Lock, Jason Manford and Leigh Francis will be rotating the roles of panellist and team captain.
David's previous fundraising efforts have seen him swim the Channel, the Gibraltar Strait and lead a team of cyclists in a Lands End to John O'Groats relay in aid of Sport Relief.
He said: "This is an amazing challenge. I just hope I don't fall asleep or burst into tears".
The show will be streamed live online on the 5th and 6th of March and then edited into five 30 minute shows for BBC Three in the run-up to Red Nose Day. There will also be highlights on BBC One on the night of Comic Relief.
