Katie Price added to Let’s Dance bill
TV reality star and former glamour model Katie Price is the latest celebrity to be added to the ever-growing Let’s Dance for Comic Relief line-up.
The 32-year-old joins a host of stars on the Saturday night show’s bill including ex-EastEnder Joe Swash, comedian Marcus Brigstocke and Waterloo Road star Philip Martin Brown.
The show, which begins on BBC One on 19th February, will see celebrities competing in front of a star-studded panel in an attempt to win the votes of the public and be crowned champions of the dancefloor.
The stellar line-up announced so far includes Lulu, Noel Fielding, Russell Kane, Colin and Justin, Penny Smith, Andi Osho, Ed Byrne, Rebecca Front, Caroline Flack, Adrian Edmondson and Lee Nelson.
There’s also an ‘80s ‘super group’ made up of Toyah Wilcox, Clare Grogan, Chesney Hawkes and Limahl.
Hosted by The One Show's Alex Jones and returning presenter Steve Jones, the show will see stars try their own versions of routines like Beyonce's Crazy In Love, Michael Jackson’s Bad and I Love To Boogie from the musical Billy Elliot.
Special guest performances will come from acts including JLS and Jessie J.
The show will highlight the issue of malaria and all proceeds from the public phone vote will go to Comic Relief.
