Radio and Television Investigation Service

The Radio and Television Investigation Service (RTIS), is a BBC managed service set up to help viewers and listeners find out if their reception problems are due to interference.

Visit the RTIS website to access their diagnostic tool, this tool is designed to help you identify possible causes of interference, both internal and external.

Report a Fault

If you wish to let the BBC know about a technical fault with receiving a BBC services then please visit the RTIS webpage, and after selecting continue, select 'other' from the drop down menu.

Transmitter, Subtitle, Red Button faults, for example, can all be reported by selecting the appropriate BBC Service.

Before reporting a fault, we suggest checking your own equipment and aerial is working correctly.
