Debuting their new single on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show in March, Placebo unveiled their new heavier sound. After a few intimate shows in the UK, they've now embarked on a world tour that include dates in this country's big arenas; emphasising their status as one of the biggest acts in rock. Know for androgyny and sexually confrontational lyrics, Placebo also inject dark filmic influences through their performances, citing David Lynch as an influence. How will Reading and Leeds crowds react to new songs like Kitty Litter alongside classics such as Every Me Every You?

The footage is fantastic, certainly makes up for the lack of it on the night! Far too much of the over-hyped 'now' bands and not enough of real talent like these guys.

I've really enjoyed watching the ONLY song that the BBC Radio 1 bothered to upload on their YouTube channel. I don't live in the UK, so I feel disappointed in the general broadcast of this year's Placebo's act. You, guys, even got the title of the song wrong. Hope there's some sort of an apology to the band and to me as a fan for this mistake. I can't wait for more songs of Placebo's performances on your YouTube account as i cannot watch what's been put up here due to 'area restrictions'. :/

I admit I was pretty disappointed about the minimal coverage of such a superb set on the televised show from Reading, knowing how much this wonderful band means to so many people, me included. I'm overjoyed to be able to watch this set, seeing as I couldn't be there in the flesh. GO PLACEBO, WE LOVE YOU!

i was there and placebo were BRILLIANT!!!! and that is even with Brian not feeling too good his voice still sounds really amazing.
the new album is seriously the best this year by anyone and if you havent already heard it you need to go and buy it right now!

Another brilliant performance from the best band in the world - but what a shame the whole concert wasn't broadcast on the night. They should be headlining as well (admittedly not bbc's fault!). I'm another one who was delighted to hear Breathe Underwater live - hope they do it again in December. LOVE YOU PLACEBO!!!
