Reading & Leeds 28-30 August 2009

Kinch are an inventive young indie-pop band from Leeds whose music has been compared to Vampire Weekend, The Jam, The Smiths and Dexys Midnight Runners. Since forming in 2007, they've shared the bill with the likes of Supergrass, Alabama 3, Pendulum, Little Comets and even The Saturdays.

They were named winners of Leeds Bright Young Things competition in 2008 (previous winners include Corinne Bailey Rae and The Music) and became Leeds Rhinos' official band for 2009. They'll be releasing new material later this year, following their debut appearance at Reading and Leeds.
