BBC Introducing in Lancashire's Sean McGinty picked up on MC Boney's slick hip-hop talents after he uploaded MP3s via the Introducing site. As well as writing and rapping, Boney gets involved with voluntary work at Sound Skills in Preston, helping young children get off the streets and do something with music. You can also hear him every week on Preston FM, where he presents The Boney Black show.

      I saw these guys at leeds and they ripped it up, deffo one of the best new things on the scene at the mo, and probably one of the best things to come out of the north west in a long while.
