Reading & Leeds 22-24 August 2008

Dramatic melodies and foreboding lyrics make Tom et al a more credible alternative to Coldplay's epic rock. Their Reading and Leeds performances showcased a darker sound interspersed with their arm raising anthems.

this was my first UK festival experience and as the first times are the best, it was definitely the best ever!! i especially enjoyed the way every single soul there sang their lungs out and not just the lyrics, but all the riffs. all bands had a very clean and polished sound. big thumbs up for: qosta, ratm, edistors, bloc party, last shadow puppets, killers, we are scientists and all the other bands!! glad to have been a part of this experience.

Racing Rats was superb! Absolutely fantastic set!

Brilliant set!The Editors and The Raconteurs played superb sets.Never heard The Editors before. So glad I've discovered them now!MGMT were good aswell, along with The Music and The Ting Tings.
