Interviewed at Reading and Leeds festivals 2008
Hysterical adoration from Kele and company's youthful fanbase will be evident around the festival main stages. Their new LP, Mercury, is expected to vibrate more experimentally than previous recordings, so this will be a first chance for art rockers to react.
solid set by the bloc. i must say though, personally i'm not a fan of the musical direction they are headed.
I thought Bloc Party was insane- definately the best performance of the weekend for me, everything about their performance was spot on perfect. 10/10!
just the most amazing band live everrr. i loved them soooo much. the crowd were awesome and the atmosphere was electric especially when flux came on and the lasers were awesome
What a performance. I really hope they return to Reading next year, but headlining
I'd never heard anything by Bloc Party before I saw this electrifying set. I now own the albums. What a great band.
Fantastic at Leeds I must say!Amazing man!
Hope they headline one day, the crowd loves them.. they were much better than the killers
I went to Leeds festival, Bloc Party were amazing - shame I missed Flux and Banquet though trying to survive in the mosh pit!
