W3C Audio Working Group
Leading the future of audio on the Web
We are leading the future of audio on the Web by chairing the W3C Audio Working Group, developing new technologies such as the Web Audio API and the Web MIDI API.
What we're doing
The BBC is a very active member in the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), participating in many groups developing future standards for the Web. One such group is the Web Audio Working Group, in which we have been active since its inception, and which we have been chairing since December 2011.
