current specifications for TPEG may be obtained
from the EBU.
Because
of the way the TPEG protocol is structured, it
naturally lends itself to manipulation with an
Object Oriented language. For this reason the TPEG
software library has been written as a set of C++
classes. The C++ class library has a fully documented
API (Application
Programming Interface) that can be used by
those wishing to write their own TPEG applications,
but it also comes with example software for encoding
and decoding TPEG services.
Please note the BBC's free software library for TPEG is no longer available.
The
specifications for DAB may be obtained directly
from ETSI - please see the WorldDAB
web site for details. |
