Principal Systems Architect
Lindsay Cornell leads the work on The Future of Radio which aims to provide technical leadership to the development of radio technologies that will maintain and extend the reach of the BBC's radio services.
The work is highly collaborative with emphasis on leveraging the BBC's reputation for technical excellence and diversity of content distribution.
Lindsay has considerable knowledge of standards making though his work as a Specialist Task Force leader at ETSI and his roles as Chairman of the World DMB and DRM Technical Committees. He also has experience in international spectrum regulation in ITU-R and as Chairman of CEPT FM51 on PMSE.
Lindsay brings a rare combination of scientific understanding, technical experience, project management and people skills to all his work. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences and events.
