Becky joined BBC R&D in 2010 on the Trainee Technologist Scheme. She now works in the Immersive and Interactive Content section, researching the potential that ultra high resolution video (UHDTV) has for new interactive user experiences. She is also involved in the Connected Studio programme, working on a collaborative project to pilot a new online product for BBC Weather.

Previous projects have included work on the Half RF for HD Radio Cameras project, the Sibyl Recommender System, and the Making Musical Moods Metadata project.

Becky has an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol, and also spent time studying at Télécom Paris. She worked as an Antenna Engineer prior to joining BBC R&D.
