What kind of computer do I need to be able to use all raw content?
raw uses lots of video and that means you need a certain level of computer to ensure you can use all of the content on the raw website without any problems. Below is a list of what we might recommend:
For PC:
- Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.70GHz
- Memory: 496MB RAM
- Operating System: Windows XP
- Browser: IE 7, Firefox 2
For Mac:
- Processor: Intel core duo processor 1.60Mhz
- Memory: 496MB RAM
You will also need to have audio enabled on your computer.
I can't get a page to load properly
You will need Flash 9 or above installed on your computer to be able to view all the video on raw. If you haven't got Flash 9 or above installed on your computer you will be able to view the html alternative by clicking on the text link at the bottom of the page you would like to view.
If you are using Internet Explorer as your main browser you should download the latest version possible (ideally IE 7 and above).
Also, check how close you are to the recommended computer - details in the question above. As the raw site uses a lot of video the pages won't always play out smoothly on older computers.
How can I make the pages easier to read?
You can change a lot about how these web pages look. You can make the text bigger or smaller and change the colours that are used.
