Ricky Ross is both a singer and songwriter. As well as being the main songwriter for Deacon Blue he has co-written songs for Ronan Keating, Will Young and James Blunt among many others.

Ricky has always loved radio and this is his third 'Another Country' series. (the first was called American Tunes.) Since 2007 Ricky has been a regular visitor to Nashville and has good friends in the Music City songwriting community.

Since the last series of Another Country Ricky has presented "Oscar Marzaroli- The Man Who Captured Glasgow" for Radio 4 and "In The Footsteps of Joan Eardley" for Radio Scotland.
