While Graham's first full-time job was a reporter at Grampian Television in Aberdeen, his first love has always been radio. Starting out in 1994 as a volunteer at a small community station in Perthshire, he went on to present music, news and talk shows for the biggest commercial radio stations in Scotland.

At Real Radio he more than doubled the audience for his weekly current affairs show; one of the highlights was conducting hour-long live interviews with each of the party leaders ahead of the 2003 Scottish Parliament elections.

The opportunity to join BBC Radio Scotland came in 2007. After a stint as business presenter on Good Morning Scotland, in May 2008 he launched the station's new weekly business programme, The Business, interviewing some of the country's most successful business leaders, including Brian Souter and Sir Ian Wood.

Around the same time he took over the reigns of the daily phone-in show Morning Extra which satisfies his appetite for a good debate — or a rammy as it often becomes!

Born in Perth, 1975 and educated at Perth Academy, Graham has a degree in Politics from Stirling University. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in Journalism and an MSc in Multimedia.

His interests include politics, technology, music and writing. In his spare time he is currently writing a book on the history of Scottish radio.
