Three years and three thousands bits of football memorabilia later, she returned to study - this time to learn the black arts of journalism.

From there she was appointed a news reporter with The Herald, before joining the BBC to work on the Footballers' Lives documentary series. Since then she's worked on a myriad of programmes including: Sportscene, Match of the Day and Football Focus – and currently presents sports news on Radio Scotland throughout the day – as well as acting as a foil for Jim Traynor on Your Call – and presenting Sports Report at 18.30 every Saturday night.
