The internet radios should accept the station name change automatically as long as the aggregator has collected the data from the BBC. However, any pre-sets will have to be changed to Radio 4 Extra.
For more information, the user should contact their manufacturer or refer to the instruction booklet or visit www.bbc.co.uk/listenonline.
Non BBC Platforms
The BBC has taken great care in making the transition from Radio 7 to Radio 4 Extra as seamless as possible.
Efforts have been made to ensure that all information supporting the Radio 4 Extra programme output is correct and reflects the new station's name.
However, there are devices and applications providing BBC programmes and content that are not under the direct control of the BBC. Some listeners may find the old station name, "BBC Radio 7" continuing to be used after the launch of BBC Radio 4 Extra.
The BBC is working to ensure that in such circumstances Radio 4 Extra programmes will appear where Radio 7 used to be. If your device, service or application continues to display the Radio 7 logo, please do contact us at radio4extra@bbc.co.uk
We would be grateful if you include the make/name of the device, service or application you are experiencing problems with.
