MS in the Asian community

It’s been predicted that the ethnic minority elderly population is going to increase ten-fold in the next 20 years. Meanwhile, a conference on Friday will explore the stigma people with multiple sclerosis experience within the Asian community. What barriers do elderly and disabled people from ethnic minorities face obtaining social care? How important is it to have specialist services for these communities? And do Asian disabled people face more prejudice than other groups?
