The idea of the Scottish Islands conjures up a romantic image of peace and tranquillity but many of them are uninhabited and the weather can also often be severe. But this didn’t deter Yorkshireman Andy Strangeway from taking on the challenge of becoming the first person ever to land on all of the one hundred and sixty two Scottish islands, which are forty hectares and above. He also created history for a second time, by being the first person to sleep on them all. Previously on You and Yours talking about his venture, he has now completed it after just under four years.
