Manchester based kitchen firm allowed to keep umlaut.
The kitchen company Moben has won the right to place two little dots over the 'o' in its name. Why the battle? Well a consumer complained to the Advertising Standards Authority that the dots (or umlaut to give them their correct name) made you think Moben was German. We asked Chris Gooding from Moben why they so wanted the dots and heard from Robert Clark from Retail Knowledgebank.
