Digital switchover
05/11/2009
Problems with digital switchover.

If you were listening yesterday, you’ll know that it was digital switchover day here in the North West of England.  We heard from John Askewfrom digital UK who assured us that you don’t need to get rid of your old television set, that a £20 set top box will do, that re-tuning to the new digital channels is easy and that there’s lots of help available. The North West was the latest digital switchover, the West Country and Borders region have already done it, Wales is nearly complete and everywhere else will be switched-over by 2012. Well, after the interview we had lots of emails from listeners who said going digital isn’t anything like as easy as John Askew makes out.  We got him back to answer your questions and comments.
